Interesting FactsNaan Bread (India)

While in India, we learned to love Naan bread!  And, once our hosts realized we liked it, they made sure we had it at every meal ... more than we could possibly eat!  We ate it buttered, plain, and even made with vegetables.  Whatever way it was served, it was good.  For those of us who found the Indian food overly spicy, the naan bread helped mask the heat of the chilis and curry.  Since we've been back, the naan bread is something we miss -- it's simply delicious!

India, a country located in southern Asia, is one of the most captivating places in the world. Unlike many other countries, India has a very unique culture. The Indian people are very big on tradition, customs, and their religion. Almost every state of India has molded and carved their own ways of doing things, which makes the country vastly more interesting than most. Making music is a hobby that most Indians partake in; and the architecture is beautiful. India's food is well known for the rice, wheat, and meats. The Indians are very humble, hard working people, and this shows through the country's history.
